The target audience for The Eco-Terrorist is obviously people who like psychological thrillers. These people like intense excitement, a heightened sense of anticipation, anxiety and nerve-wracking tension. Typically, these people are over the age of 18, as these films contain violence and bad language. More females tend to watch psychological thrillers than males, and, since our film will have a strong female lead, it is likely to appeal to that demographic.

Most commonly, the target age group is 18-24, but the genre appeals to a wide range of people. I have often watched scary movies with my teenage daughter. This is the kind of film that we would watch together, though we both fall outside the classic “psychological thriller” demographic. We also believe that this film will have a wide appeal to New Zealanders because it tells a great kiwi story that relates to our history and culture.
